Optimize your space by storing materials vertically.
The Modula Vertical Lift Module's (VLM) design, styling, and reliability will enable you to save space, time, money all while enabling your employees to work effortlessly with your material handling needs on a daily basis.
Optimize your space by storing materials vertically.
Modula Vertical Lift Modules are enclosed automated mechanical storage system. It efficiently stores trays in two zones: Zone One: floor to ceiling storage locations on the back of the storage system and Zone Two: storage locations from the top of the access opening to the ceiling on the front side of the storage system. The storage unit will automatically store metal storage trays vertically in both these storage zones. An automated elevator extractor travels vertically to the stored location in the unit with an extractor device placed in the center. The VLM automatically delivers trays with the stored items to the access window with a push of a button or a scan of a barcode.
Automated storage and retrieval systems rely on a management software called a Warehouse Management System (WMS), which helps to reduce labor and product searching, increase efficiency, and help to automate logistics tasks such as inventorying and reordering. Modula Lifts also keep your staff safe by preventing any tipping product, lifting or moving-related strains, and other dangers associated with traditional pallet-racked warehouse storage.
Modula VLM's work in conjunction with Modula's Warehouse Management Software (WMS) to effectively and automatically update stock inventories, on-hand counts, and other logistics details. In addition, it's guided product picking and centralized inventory location means warehouse staff can easily access products from one location—boosting efficiency and reducing the need to navigate stockrooms.
